John Kudlas – Living History exhibits, Sunday Ecumenical Church Service (Barnes Christian Men’s Club), lead Clean Up Barnes effort, shared his many talents throughout the festivities – musician, engraver, master of ceremonies.

Russ Carter – coordinated the food and beverage servers and ticket sellers (Lion’s Club, VFW)

Bob Paszak – constructed the Barnes Historical site markers, installed by the Conservation Club

Butch Springer – “Welcome to Barnes” signs (paid for by the Town of Barnes, installed by the Conservation Club), beer wagon and beer glasses.

Jim Johnson – Saturday Family Bike Ride, assisted by Rita Johnson & Jack Scholz

Donna Porter & Marcia Wellnitz – served Saturday morning continental breakfast (EMT’s)

Nancy Hailey – coordinated the Quilt & Fiber Art Show. Joyce Zimm assisted with the “High Tea”. Nancy also made the quilt used as our top raffle prize. (Barnes Christian Women’s Club)

Cindy Martin – coordinated the Community Picnic (VFW Auxiliary). Cindy designed, constructed and installed the curtains in the Town Hall to coordinate with the Centennial logo.

Gale Chermack –coordinated the Car Show

Jan Waddell – organized the Kid’s Games with assistance from Susan Widmar and Michelle Ruprecht

Bob Mix – Organized the Historical Variety Show, assisted by narrator Sue Pagnucci & pianist Joan Mason

Sharon Moen –coordinated the Sunday Pie and Ice Cream Social (AARP)

Helen Ruprecht – Founder’s Day Dinner, served by the Barnes HCE

Jack Meinke – liaison to the Town Board, Frankie Meinke donated several historical artifacts from her family to the Town Museum

Lanny Neider, Bob Oberstar & Gene Miller – daily clean-up to do in setting up the celebration

Paul Merz –installed all the electricity for the event

Earl Gregoire – assisted with the recruiting of the bands.

Pastor Phil Griepp – led the Sunday Outdoor Church Service
