The Eau Claire Lakes Conservation Club has been active in Barnes and Gordon for 60 years. The organization is devoted to maintaining the area's natural resources for all to enjoy. Each year the club initiates and participates in projects to preserve, protect and promote the land and waters of the Eau Claire Lakes area. The club has two pontoon trailers that can be rented for $20.00 per four hours. Contact Dick Webb at Masterjohn Realty (795-2110) on County N to schedule a rental.

The club welcomes volunteers and other interested individuals. Monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month at the Barnes VFW Club at 7:00 p.m. (April - November).
