Thinking About Visiting Us?

Barnes has a lot to offer.
About Barnes and
Tourism, Business & Lodging
to the left will provide more information.

It's Spring Cleanup Time!

The town will not have a designated Spruce up day this year, but we are hoping everyone will continue to help with the road side cleanup. You can pick up free bags at the transfer site or just bring in what you have picked up and let the attendant know it is road side cleanup. For more information click here.

The town is trying to maintain a list of who is planning on cleaning up specific road segments to prevent duplication. If you would like to participate and make a "pledge" please click here. There will also be information at the transfer site and you can leave information about what road(s) you cleaned up there.

We have a New mapping system. The system allows local points of interest to be identified on the map. Controls allow the viewer to change the zoom level and move around on the map. Now there are map links to many of the recreational facilities that are described in the web site. Here is a link to the town hall map.

The Barnes Senior Meals Menu may be accessed here.  Then click Local News and Events (We do not know if this will be a permanent feature of the Chetel Communications site.).
