A Public Involvement Meeting regarding the South Shore Bridge Replacement will be held Wed. Oct. 28th at 7pm.  It will be available via GoToMeeting video conferencing, by phone and limited seating at the Town Hall.

ALL PUBLIC BUILDINGS AND RESTROOMS REMAIN CLOSED.  Clerk available by appointment, call 715-795-2782.

The General Election is November 3rd!  Polls will be open from 7am-8pm.  You can request absentee ballots online at www.myvote.wi.gov until October 29th.  In person voting begins October 20 - contact the clerk for an appointment.  Completed ballots can be mailed, deposited at the drop box outside the Town Office or returned to the polling place on Election Day.

UPDATE!  THE TRANSFER SITE IS NOW OPEN WEDNESDAYS AND SUNDAYS, 8am-2pm (closed on Saturdays).  Fees for TVS AND COMPUTER EQUIPMENT are charged BY WEIGHT.   The Brush Pit is open the same days/hours

Barnes Emergency Services sent out letters to property owners in an effort to raise funds for our new Emergency Services Building To date, nearly $69,000 has been donated!  The fund raising goal is $125,000.   The Town has a brokerage account so we accept stock donations!  Contact the clerk for more information.

Tracy Pooler is the Bayfield County Ass't Zoning Administrator -contact him at 715-373-6138 for Planning and Zoning questions.  His office hours have resumed, Tuesdays 10am-noon.
