Tom Renz has been elected Town Board Chair with 279 votes; Jim Frint (200 votes) and Dave Scully (171 votes) have been elected to the board. Donna Porter received 142 votes and Susan Jansen received 125 votes.

THE TRANSFER SITE SUMMER HOURS ARE NOW IN EFFECT, OPEN WEDNESDAYS, SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS, 8am-2pm. The Brush Pit is open the same days/hours.

Silver Beach Elk returns to Barnes
Barnes Emergency Services sent out letters to property owners in an effort to raise funds for our new Emergency Services Building To date, nearly $69,000 has been donated! The fund raising goal is $125,000. You can donate using Paypal. The Town also has a brokerage account so we accept stock donations, contact the clerk for more information.
Tracy Pooler is the Bayfield County Ass't Zoning Administrator -contact him at 715-373-6138 for Planning and Zoning questions. His office hours have resumed, Tuesdays 10am-noon.
