Minutes of the Town of Barnes Planning Commission

Of April 17, 2008

Planning Commission members present: Gene Ratzel, Dave Pease, Dick Webb.

Alternate present: Duke Marten

Members Absent: Diane Rupnow, Donna Porter

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Gene Ratzel. Agenda read.

Roll call to establish quorum.

Motion (Pease/ Marten) to approve agenda. Motion carried.

Motion ( Pease/ Ratzel) to dispense with the reading of the minutes from the last meeting. Motion carried.

Motion ( Pease/ Marten) to approve the minutes from the last meeting. Motion carried.

Public Comments: None

Zoning, Land Use Applications:  

Annette Smith, 53800 Robinson Lake Rd: Special Use permit for home based business (Real Estate).  F1 zoning district.

Motion (Webb/ Marten) to approve the request.  Discussion followed. Motion carried.

Dennis Zingshiem, Wilbur Smith Road: Place a mobile home in F1 zoning district. 

Motion (Pease/ Marten) to approve the request.  Discussion followed. Motion carried.

Reports: Gene discussed a recording device from the town could be used when having hearings with much public input.

Motion (Webb/ Marten) to adjourn. Motion carried.
