Minutes of the Town of Barnes Planning Commission

September 13, 2007

Planning Commission members present:  Gene Ratzel, Dave Pease,

Dick Webb, Donna Porter

Alternate present:  Duke Marten

Member Absent:  Diane Rupnow

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Gene Ratzel.  Agenda read.

Roll call to establish quorum.

Motion Pease/Marten to dispense with the reading of the minutes from the last meeting.  Motion carried.

Motion Ratzel/Pease to approve minutes of the last meeting.  Motion  carried.

Public Comments:  none.

ZONING, LAND USE APPLICATIONS:

1-  Earl and Linda Gregoire:  Rezone from R2 to F2 to create larger tract of  contiguous  land for forestry purposes.  A trade of land between Gregoire and Bayfield Co.

Motion Webb/Martin to approve.  Motion carried.

2-  Bayfield County from F2 to R2  The trading of land to Gregoire.

.Motion Porter/Webb to approve.  Motion carried.

3-  Robert  Cochrane & Denise Scharlemann  to do shoreline grading for walkout basement.  Mike said it was straightforward with no problems.

Motion Pease/Marten to approve.  Motion carried.

Gene will draw up a report for the next town meeting.

Motion Webb/Marten to adjourn at 4:20.  Motion carried.
