1. Minutes from the May 21, 2007

Minutes from the last meeting were reviewed. A motion to accept the minutes as submitted was made by Dave Pease, seconded by Jim Joswick, passed.

2. Report from Jack Conklin

Signs for boat Landings

Jack Conklin presented a design of signs to show IAS monitor on duty. Bids were $42 per sign manufactured or $28 if we make them. After discussion, it was determined that Dave will donate aluminum sheet, Mitch will cut and Lee and Ingemar will make and paint sandwich board signs for the three main landings.
The large yellow signs need maintenance, new screws.
Jack will attend C.W.& C.B. Wis. Assn. Lakes Conference this week at Telemark, the fees paid by the grant.

3. Tomahawk and Sandbar Lakes Research Study

Pam Toshner advised Ingemar that it might be wise to have slow-no wake signs on Tomahawk, during study period on Tomahawk and Sand Bar Lakes.
In kind activities may be: look for weevils (natural enemies) and scuba diver examinations of beds.
Grant application deadline for Research study is August 1, 2007.
