III. Barnes Eurasian Water Milfoil Discovery

Eurasian Water Milfoil was discovered in Tomahawk and Sandbar lakes in late August 2004 by Pam Toshner of the WDNR water quality staff at Superior. The WDNR notified the Barnes/Eau Claire Lakes Property Owners Association, Inc. Board of Directors, who, upon verification of EWM, began to inform and educate the Town and the community of the ramifications of the presence of EWM.
