Membership Information It is hoped that through the efforts of BAHA, the Barnes Area Citizens and Friends, the elk artifacts will be displayed at BAHA's Museum for all to view, allowing the elk to take its place in the area in which it lived centuries ago and where it was recently discovered. What can I do to help BAHA with their effort to bring the elk to the Museum? You can give us your support by doing one or all of the following: 1. Join BAHA and become an active member of the Barnes Area "Second Century". We need ideas and work to develop a local museum. To enroll, contact Lu Peet (a new membership form is being updated.): 2. Donate to the museum building fund. We will need money to develop the new museum. For us to become a curator of the "Elk Display", we must meet Wisconsin's strict building codes and conditions for archaeology artifacts. This will take money to make sure we have these codes in place and ready for the elk display. The scientific investigation is estimated to take about 3 years. We will have to be ready for the display by that time. To make a donation, contact: The following documents will appear in a new browser window.
