The Barnes Community Church Food Shelf

Matching funds for the Barnes Food Shelf

  The Barnes Community Church Food Shelf is open the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for persons living within 15 miles of Barnes or those living in the zip codes of: Barnes 54873, Cable 54821, Drummond 54832, Gordon 54873, and Grand View 54839. Please bring identification.

People coming to receive food will need identification and will be asked to fill out a form which includes the following: names of household members, address, and reason for coming.
Confidentiality is a priority. No personal information will be distributed.

Basic foodstuffs are available -- canned and boxed foods. We try to provide several days groceries of these basic foods. We do NOT have fresh foods, fresh or frozen meat, or fresh milk. We Do have some canned meat.

We are open from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. every second Wednesday.  Anyone in need who is from the three zip code areas or living within 15 miles of Barnes is welcome.

DONATIONS
A receipt is available for tax purposes for those wishing to donate either food or money. We qualify for non-profit status, so all donations are tax deductible. Items may be dropped at the Barnes Community Church Tuesdays through Fridays from 9 a.m. until noon. Use the parking lot entrance (nearer the offices).


Canned meat, peanut butter, soups, canned vegetables, cereal, canned fruit, etc. are welcome items. Cash donations help us keep a good variety of items in stock.

No church affiliation or any other restrictions apply other than financial need (persons who are in need). The intent is to help those in need. Please help us to spread the news that there is help with "no strings attached".
