The Barnes Volunteer Fire Department has many types of equipment they use during emergency responses. It is reassuring to know that the department has equipment for rescues related to thin ice. Training is a vital part of maintaining proficiency.

The Barnes Area Historical Association Centennial Planning Committee sincerely wishes to thank all who made the 100th birthday party of the Town of Barnes such a tremendous success. Hundreds of visitors enjoyed a weekend of "Fresh Air" fun.
