THE SKATING RINK HAS BEEN CLOSED DUE TO THE WARM TEMPERATURES.
There will be a Spring Election on Tuesday, April 6th. Absentee Ballots can be issued beginning March 16th so please submit your request for a ballot by regular mail, email or drop off in the dropbox. All requests must include a copy of your photo ID. In person absentee voting begins on March 23rd.
OPEN BOOK - your chance to meet with the assessor to review your property assessment - will be Monday, April 12th from 2-4pm, by phone only. Please contact our assessor, Walt Hughes of Associated Appraisal Consultants, Inc. at 920-475-4597 to arrange a phone appointment. The BOARD OF REVIEW will be Tuesday, May 4th, from 2-4pm in the Town Hall.

THE TRANSFER SITE WINTER HOURS NOW IN EFFECT, OPEN WEDNESDAYS AND SUNDAYS, 8am-2pm (closed on Saturdays). The Brush Pit is open the same days/hours.

Silver Beach Elk returns to Barnes
Barnes Emergency Services sent out letters to property owners in an effort to raise funds for our new Emergency Services Building To date, nearly $69,000 has been donated! The fund raising goal is $125,000. You can donate using Paypal. The Town also has a brokerage account so we accept stock donations, contact the clerk for more information.
Tracy Pooler is the Bayfield County Ass't Zoning Administrator -contact him at 715-373-6138 for Planning and Zoning questions. His office hours have resumed, Tuesdays 10am-noon.
